The Importance of Discipleship

The Gathering believes the method of Jesus and the method of the early church was to make disciples in the context of a small group of men intentionally experiencing life together. We believe that model is still the best model for the 21st Century. We believe that as small groups Show the Word and Teach the Word to one another, and intentionally Share the Word together, Christ will form His character in them and extend His ministry through them. We challenge men to intentionally seek to develop a plan to make disciples and to multiply their group in order to multiply our effectiveness of making disciples.

The Four Priorities provides a process of applying Biblical principles that revolutionize the personal life of a man as well as his family. We have used The Four Priorities as our main discipleship program for four years. Over two hundred men have studied The 4P and some are reproducing these Priorities with other men.

The Four Priorities: Life is Too Short to Get It Wrong, confronts life's voids, challenges and demonstrates how to "get it right" through a personal, progressive commitment to Christ, self-valuation, relationship building and community connections. Living the Four Priorities hopes to bring direction and focus to thousands of churches and millions of believers across the United States. Exponential multiplication is the outcome of The Four Priorities.
