Testimonies of Great Men of The Gathering
Day after day we witness God's power through the transformation of men's lives. The Gathering impacts the men in our community by holding group meetings, Bible studies, outreach events and social gatherings. Read a few of the testimonies and join us at our next get together.
Four Priorities Study
“Jesus commanded Christians to make disciples. We know that when husbands and dads become Christ-followers, their families are likely to follow suit. The Four Priorities are a great tool to make disciples of men. As a Pastor, I am grateful for this outstanding resource".
Jimmy Scroggins, Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church-West Palm Beach
“It’s been my experience in 35 years of ministry to find that most men have a plan for their livelihood – how to make a living! But when it comes to how to live, especially with their families and God, they seem to be directionally challenged! The Four Priorities is a non-threatening way to provide a compass so that they may find renewal in their lives and with their family, God and others.” Rainer Richter, Senior Pastor, St. Peter’s United Methodist-Wellington
The Four Priorities book provides a pragmatic roadmap for our spiritual journey through life. I found it to be very helpful in tying in scripture in ways which enhance our everyday relationships with wives, kids, family and even business associates. I found the book to be comprehensive in touching on a large number of aspects of life. What I took away from the course study is a more focused faith and it has allowed me to slow me down in order to reflect more. Mike Reitzell
Going through the Four Priorities gives you insight and reminds you of truths that produce the Power God want you to have to live out His Will in your life, unlike any other study I have seen. It's not about doing,... it is about being the person God has called you to BE. Dale Hedrick
I found the first priority meetings as a special time and a great way to start my week. I longed for the companionship and realized that I had grown close to the guys in just a short couple of weeks. The material is thought provoking and the discussions are enlightning. I have recommended the four priorities class to our men's group at church. I'm looking forward to the next 3 priorities and hope to teach a class after I finish. David Boyer
I found the Gathering in May, 2006 after a guy reached out to me and offered to pray for me, totally unexpectedly. I had been looking for a men's group with good fellowship and was also searching for some personal spiritual enrichment. I was told about Bob Schuemann and the Tuesday lunches at First Presbyterian, North Palm Beach, and the ministry of the Gathering of Men and decided to try it out. Many of the guys have encouraged and reached out to me.
The men I have met and the experiences that I have shared have changed my life. I have learned what it is to be a Christian and what it means to have a personal, progressive relationship with Jesus Christ. My journey and transformation thus far, have been amazing and words are not enough to describe the changes I have seen in my own life and the further changes that I need and want to make. I have met and continue to meet, on a daily basis, men from every walk of life and every denomination that continually amaze and encourage me.
I am brought to this simple passage from (Romans: 1:11-12-NIV) “I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith".
God Bless Bob Schuemann, his ministry, and The Gathering!
I believe in the “mission” of the Gathering. It is a great way to help me fulfill my discipleship responsibilities. It is a great way to touch men’s lives and ultimately reach their entire family. H.W. "Hank" Massey, Jr.,
I support The Gathering because They offer so many programs and platforms for men to learn how get closer to Their Lord, their family and each other. I am proud to financially support The Gathering. John R. Borawski
My goal as a believer is to participate where God is moving in His kingdom. Throughout the many years, I have seen God moving in the efforts of The Gathering and I support them in their unique ministry that encourages & equips men to grow in their faith of Jesus Christ and be a light to the world. Dale Hedrick
I have been blessed through the Ministry and activities provided by the Gathering. It has been my privilege to serve by supporting the Gathering as it spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ and disciples men in their Christian Faith. Chuck Schumacher
I support The Gathering because they are about ‘the proclamation of the gospel‘, the good news of what God has done in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The gospel is not about man and how to be a good Christian, but what God has done for us in Christ Jesus.
